CBP Development recently celebrated an important construction milestone at Artefact on Argyle: the completion of the 12-storey superstructure of our 127-unit multi-residential development at 100 Argyle Avenue in Centretown. We are deeply grateful to the many trade partners whose hard work, dedication, and collaboration have brought the project to this stage.
A highlight of the day was watching the final beam rise to the top of the building. The beam was signed for posterity by key project contributors, symbolizing the collective effort and expertise behind this development.
With the structure now complete, we turn our attention to the next major phase of construction, including interior finishing and exterior cladding. These steps will move us steadily toward delivering this dynamic, modern addition to Ottawa’s skyline, with occupancy anticipated for Fall 2026.
Artefact on Argyle, a partnership with Claridge Inc. and Morley Hoppner, is the first project backed by equity from the CBP Development Fund I as part of Colonnade BridgePort’s $2B development pipeline. Two other projects: RYSE—a 22-story, 243-unit residential building at 1950 Scott Street in Westboro, and Junction Central, located next to Ottawa’s main train station in Alta Vista, of which Phase I consists of two residential towers, Linq and Connex, rising 14 and 28 storeys and delivering a combined 498-units; are also currently under construction.
